Last March 1st, Claremont Desgin who provides assistance to small to medium businesses to build a great presence on the web has organized a SEO contest with key phrase Tnomeralc Web Design Toys.

I decided to join the said contest but unfortunately, I have problems with my internet here in the Philippines. If only I am in Dubai, I will have time to work on Tnomeralc Web Design Toys.

The person who can rank first on the said keyword will get a prize of $3oo, 2nd prize of $150 and the 3rd prize of $50.

They have decided to put a deadline which will be on April 12. That is after Easter Sunday.

With only 1 day left before the final checkpoint, Benj entry seocontest2008 has been unstable for the past few days on google serps. While Eli's seocontest2008 still ranks #3.

I'm not sure if Benj's seocontest2008 secret weapon was the song he created for seo is really his secret weapon, if that is true well all seo optimizers would become a song writer as well.hehehe...

But that was really a nice song Sir Benj,ur the man..I'm sure that aside from that song you composed for seo, there are other secret weapon that you will use to regain you position. You better do it now before April 1st fools you...hehehe...

SEOcontest2008 Bayanihan

Few days left before the seocontest2008 ends. Due to busy work, I was not able to update this blog for the said contest. Today is holiday here in Dubai so I have 3 days off from work. Though I still have homework to do, I now have time to update my blogs.

I was thinking that since this blog will not rank, I think it's better for me to do is to create link/post and link my fellow Filipinos who were already doing a great job for the seocontest2008. I can see that Benj's entry seocontest2008 has been in the top spot for weeks now followed by Eli's seocontest2008 #4 and Ed's entry seocontest2008 on #10. I hope that first page will be dominated by all Filipinos, knowing that there are around 28 Filipino SEO experts and newbies. I know it's difficult but its not impossible right?

My 2nd seocontest2008 post

After 2 weeks from my first seocontest2008 post, this will be my 2nd post for the seocontest2008. As I have said before, I chose the domain name tryseocontest2008 because I don't know if I will have to to work on this. But of course I know that I can not win, just trying my luck.

Today, I have no plans of writing for this seocontest2008 but when I saw from SEO Philippine forum that the entry of Benj seocontest2008 was already on top 1 and the rest of the members of seoph are working on their entries, I told myself why not update my entry.

Though I don't update my entry most of the time for the seocontest2008, I am always checking UKWW forum for any news with regards to this contest.

Been thinking whether I will join the contest by UK Webmaster World SEO Contest which already started last February 1. I have created a post on my personal site about the said seocontest2008 few days back and today I have decided to join and try. Anyway, win or lose I know I will learn and meet new people who are experts on SEO.

Let me explain to you once again what this seocontest2008 is all about. Last Feb. 1 the UK Webmaster World had launched a contest for the keyword phrase "seocontest2008". Whoever ranks #1 in google.com SERPs on the last day of the contest will get a prize of $1000.00 and the 3 runners up will get a consolation prize of $100.00 each.

There are only 300 participants who can join the contest and before you can do so must first register to be a member of the UKWW forum. At the moment there are only 90 participants so I can still join the seocontest2008 though I am already 16 days late and most of the entries have already done their job optimizing their entries. The contest started Feb. 1 and will end on April 1, 2008.

Let me just give you here the rules on how to join seocontest2008:

How to join SEOcontest2008:

1. Create NEW page - it can be domain, subdomain, subfolder but must be brand new with no incoming links.

3. Go to official contest site and fill up registration form

4. Apply your best (legal) SEO techniques to achieve the best SERPs for the targeted term

Everyone will be able to see current standings on the SEO Contest page which will be updated daily.

You may use a domain, folder, or sub domain as your optimised page with one criterion. The page must be brand new, no backlins no cached version
Every optimisation techniques are allowed except cloaking, and hiding text. We will periodically compare the optimised pages with their cached version in order to discover the cloackers, hence we kindly ask you to avoid using any kind of noarchive meta tag
No multiple entries are allowed - ONE URL per forum member
Participants are allowed to change URL but with the same requirements - at the moment of registration new url can not have any cashed version or incoming links. Old URL will be removed from database and no longer allowed to be used.

I am not hoping to win the prize but I'm sure I will win in gaining knowledge on this contest that is why I have named my entry as tryseocontest2008.blogspot.com
